Bi-Annual Antique Fair at L'Isle sur la Sorgue
Out with the old and, well, in with the old is the flavour of August in Isle sue La Sorgue, Provence, as the International Antiques Fair once again descends on the region. Held bi-annually at Easter and in August, the fair is one of the biggest in the world and understandably attracts tens of thousands of world-wide exhibitors, browsers and buyers.
Whether you’re a serious buyer or a casual browser, the breadth of product is truly astounding and whole days can be lost meandering around stalls and sipping coffee in waterside cafes whilst chatting to some of the fascinating antique experts who are on hand to offer advice.
If you miss the fair dates then don’t fear as smaller antique markets are held here every Sunday and plenty of dealers residing here permanently so antique bargain hunters can be sure to find something no matter when they visit. The fairs however create a real buzz and represent this region at its finest, doing what it does best.
This summer’s event runs from 15th – 18th August 2013.
