LE MAS DES ROSES, PROVENCE, FRANCE, JULY 2012

"This is a very special place, beautifully presented and looked after. Every detail, from the daily fresh flowers, to the welcome supper and closing dinner, left us with glowing hearts. Thank you Criquette, you could not have been more graceful and caring a host, your smile every day we will treasure as one of our special memories of our visit here, and my goodness, your cooking - you spoilt us.”

CASTELLO DI ROCCA, TUSCANY, JULY 2012

"Castello di Rocca was truly all and more than I had hoped for. The villa is elegant and grand the grounds, the views, the stone, the furnishings -- and surprisingly comfortable at the same time. The layout of the rooms and bathrooms had the equality and relationships that I wanted. All rooms had perfect Tuscan views, the legacy of being a lookout fort at the top of the hill. I think the absence of air-conditioning is a plus. The house did stay cool all day while closed up, and the evenings and mornings had the special quality of the local sounds (cock, church bells, dogs) and fresh air. No screens. I loved that. Most ideal was the sense of rural privacy and views while we were only minutes from the town square. The steep and long stairs were the best and the worst part -- good exercise for us, but perhaps tough for some. A dash in for coffee and bread in the morning, gelato in the evening. We ate dinner in town three nights, repeatedly at the same place (Il Nilo), where we felt like regulars. The housekeeper cooked for us three nights, and all was perfect Italian food simple and delicious. Eating outside at one of the many tables was dreamy. The staff were excellent. I am so glad we got the local babysitter. Bianca was not only the sitter, but our host in many ways. Her day job is working for the Tourist Office, so she was helpful planning day trips and especially translating with Vassily, the custodian, and Lydia, the housekeeper/cook. Bianca set out the extensive welcome spread the day we arrived. (I think she works for the owner somehow.) We also very much appreciated the presence of Maryse Pen, your local rep. She did our arrival shopping, met us on our arrival day, and repeatedly called to check on us. She is charming, and it was a comfort knowing a local person was looking out for us. Thank you both, and please thank Maret, also, for her work, and Walter, too, for originally suggesting this villa."

LE PALME, TUSCANY, JUNE 2012

"We returned yesterday from a WONDERFUL two weeks at Villa Le Palme. It suited us much better than the previous villas, so we are again very appreciative of your help to secure this alternative venue after the late cancellation. Thank you too for the wine that Todd secured for us on your behalf. Very much appreciated and enjoyed."

FIRENZE APARTMENTS, FLORENCE, JUNE 2012

"The kids are referring to our Apt as "the palace" and it was so nice seeing a smiling Francesca waiting for us at the train station and then Todd just finished welcoming us - he is just fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The "hosted" option is wonderful - thank you so much!"

KLOSTERS, FEBRUARY 2012

"I know it is long overdue but I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had in Klosters and to thank you for organising it. David and Heloise were exceptional hosts and the food and their hospitality were the highlights of our trip. The owner was also very attentive and made us feel very welcome. For us, this was a very expensive holiday but the memories are worth it."

Listing_Luxury-villa-Sancha
VILLA SANCHA, SPAIN, JULY 2012

"Just a quick note to say that everything worked wonderfully at Villa Sancha last week. Everything in the house worked and was of very good quality. It was spotlessly clean and the team there had worked very hard to ensure we could room in early. Renata was brilliant and is a real asset to that property. The meals prepared by Deborah the cook were also excellent and are something I think you could promote more with potential clients interested in staying at Villa Sancha. Kind regards for your help with making the holiday successful."
