La Bastide aux Citronniers
An imposing stone-built bastide situated in a picturesque area between the pretty hill-top village of Mougins and the old town of Grasse. Set in a beautifully maintained garden, dotted with mature olive trees, cypress and citrus tree, the house enjoys stunning views across the valley and is a stone’s throw from the attractions of the Cote d’Azur.
The spacious interiors have been beautifully decorated with a tasteful mix of antiques and contemporary features. Entering the property via the breakfast terrace, guests are immediately struck by the open plan country kitchen and dining area, leading on to a very cosy living room with fireplace and state-of-the-art music system. Upstairs, two en-suites bedrooms are charmingly decorated in typical Provencal style, featuring traditional oak-beamed ceilings and views over the surrounding grounds. On the top floor is a spacious TV room with a flat screen TV with Sky TV and DVD player, and a fireplace. The TV room opens onto a grand king-size master bedroom with en suite bathroom, air-conditioning and wonderful views over the gardens, olive trees and French Riviera paysage. One separate junior suite with a king-size bed, is independently accessed in the grounds adjacent to the main house, and comes with en-suite shower and direct access to the garden and the pool.
