Meribel | Bedrooms: 6 | Sleeps: 14 + 2

Rates: from £14,800 per week

Mont Tremblant is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious chalets in Méribel covering 600msq. Designed by Stephane Couyoumdjian, the attention to detail is aspirational. Situated in its own grounds, with exceptional views of the mountains, Mont Tremblant is in the heart of Meribel, just a few minutes' walk from the town centre.

On entering the chalet you will be immediately struck by the vast amount of space and natural light. The sitting room, dining room and kitchen make up the ground floor. These are big open spaces that are heightened by stunning views in the day and the large open fireplace at night. The chalet has all the state of the art technology you could wish for but retains a wonderful alpine charm with old style wood and cream walls throughout. The master bedroom occupies the whole of the first floor. With double height windows to enhance the spectacular views, this has to be the ultimate haven. The large bathroom has a walk in shower and large bath. There are 5 bedrooms on the lower ground floor, all individually designed with a beautiful mix of old style wood and contemporary features such as plasma TVs and modern fireplaces. All have super king zip and link beds and their own monsoon showers and separate baths. Also on this floor is the cinema room and another sitting room/playroom for younger children to enjoy games and toys. After a hard day on the slopes you can take advantage of the hot tub or heated infinity swimming pool. Being one of the only private outdoor swimming pools in Meribel it is 8m x 4.5m x 1.2m deep - suitable for swimmers as well as those wanting to relax.

In restaurants a service charge is built into menu prices. However, it's customary to round up amounts when paying the waiter or waitress if you're happy with the service. This means that you might hand the server EUR 50 for a EUR 47 meal. If you're paying by credit card, hand the server a cash tip of up to 5%. For Taxis as in restaurants, round up or add 5% when you're happy with the service. Tips to your chalet staff are entirely at your discretion.

Travel documents are your responsibility. In general you should have: a signed, valid passport that will remain valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of your trip. Your passport must have enough blank pages (excluding amendment pages) available for entry and exit stamps issued when entering and exiting immigration points. Visas are required for certain nationalities and you are strongly advised to check your status allowing plenty of time for visa application.

The finishing touches

Ever dreamt of driving through the Chianti hills in a red Ferrari, or along the Moyenne Corniche to Monaco in a Bentley? How about sailing along the Cote d'Azur to St Tropez in a private yacht or speed boat? Sometimes the home is all that you need, but if you're lured into culture, excitement, activity, improving your cooking or simply dabbling in landscapes, then speak to one of our Villa Specialists for an insight into what we can arrange. These are what we call our ‘Finishing Touches’.

The list is by no means exhaustive and we always welcome requests, however obscure you may think they are! Our local offices enable us to control the quality of the services on offer and the depth of knowledge our local teams have is impressive. Our aim is to provide guests with the authentic sights, flavours and experiences of the region they are staying in.
