Yet the real charm of this beautiful place lies in the variety of its outdoor spaces; inviting you to spend precious moments with your loved ones under the Mediterranean sun, may it be dining, relaxing, playing a round of tennis or for a family with kids - exploring.

Nestled in the hills near the charming village of Sant Josep, Can Pilan impresses with 60,000m² of private land including attractive matured gardens, several outdoor lounge and dining terraces, a tennis court as well as an approx. 8x4m swimming pool with magnificent views over the rolling countryside and the sea in the distance. The striking interior will most certainly wow you as chic designer furniture meets original rustic features such as whitewashed stone walls, wooden beam ceilings and plenty of quirky and comfy hideout areas, ideal for relaxing and catching up on your holiday reading. All of the villa's five bedrooms have air-conditioning, bath/shower rooms and three bedrooms even come with their own separate entrances from outdoors to allow space and privacy.


Please note that there are several steps in the house.

  • Fully-equipped kitchen leading to open-plan dining area with table seating 10 guests comfortably.
  • Open-plan sitting area with fireplace and doors leading out onto the pool area and al fresco dining terrace. Snug area with TV on mezzanine level.
  • Media room with TV, music system, book library.
  • Bedroom 1: Small bedroom with 1.60m bed. Separate shower room and W.C.
  • Bedroom 2: Master bedroom with 1.80m bed, TV and en suite bathroom with bath and shower.
  • Bedroom 3: with 1.80m bed and en suite shower room.
  • Bedroom 4: with twin/double beds and en suite shower room. Doors lead out to the area with the tennis court.
  • Bedroom 5: this bedroom is located at the back of the house and features twin/double beds, a TV, an open-plan en suite shower room and access to a private patio.


  • We'd like to make you aware that the villa is located uphill near the main road between Ibiza town and Sant Josep and that some seasonal road noise may be possible to hear in the distance.

The Euro (€) is the official currency of Ibiza. Coins are available in 1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50, cent , €1 & €2 denominations. Notes are available in €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200, €500 denominations.


Travellers cheques are widely accepted for exchange or purchase in major cities, but in more rural areas, visit a bank to exchange them for Euros.
Major credit cards are widely accepted here (though a limited number of merchants have American Express accounts) and ATM access is widespread.
Exchange currency only at authorized outlets such as banks and hotels, and exchange only what you think you will spend in-country. Coins cannot be reconverted on departure.
Save all receipts from any currency exchange transaction. You may be asked to produce them when you exit the country, and they are required if you intend to reconvert local currency.


Spaniards are fairly relaxed about tipping etiquette. However service is not usually included in restaurants and it is common practice to leave the spare change, or up to 10% of the total in a smarter restaurant. Taxi drivers and bartenders may be tipped less. Many petrol stations are not self service, however it is not usual to tip the station attendant.


Travel documents are your responsibility. In general you should have:
A signed, valid passport that will remain valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of your trip. Your passport must have enough blank pages (excluding amendment pages) available for entry and exit stamps issued when entering and exiting immigration points.
Visas are required for certain nationalities and you are strongly advised to check your status allowing plenty of time for visa application.


During the summer months the islands typically has 11 hours of sunshine each day, average temperature topping 29ºC as well as virtually no rain. Spring's and autumn's temperatures range from 22ºC-28ºC and the region's sunshine is still between 8-10 hours a day. The weather can be unpredictable and much more changeable, with the night-time temperature dropping quite dramatically. The winter brings average temperatures dropping to a cooler 15ºC, and 5 hours of sunshine a day.


It is advisable to contact your doctor before you travel if you have any specific health concerns and take out appropriate travel and medical insurance.


Electrical service in Spain is supplied at 220-240 volts/50 hertz – a converter/adaptor may be required.


No right-hand turn on a red light.
Traffic from the RIGHT has right of way.
Passport or national ID as well as driver's license, insurance papers and ownership papers must be carried all the time.
National speed limit is 50km (31mph) in towns, 90km (56mph) on secondary non-urban highways (carretera secundaria), 100km (62mph) on dual carriageways (carretera/autovia), 120km (75mph) on motorways (autopista).; Speeding fines: 30 – 300 Euros.
Minimum driving age is 18.
For use of the highways (autopista) it is often necessary to pay a toll before access. Prices vary and are calculated by the distance of the journey.
There are strict laws concerning drinking and driving. Blood alcohol levels must not exceed 0,05%. There are random breathalyser tests carried out regularly by the police.
An international driving licence is not required for European citizens. Your locally issued driving licence, as long as it is accompanied by the passport, will suffice.


Can Pilan is located near the charming village of Sant Josep and less than 15 minutes away from Ibiza town, hence a great variety of restaurants, shops and beaches are within easy reach (within 10-15 min drive). The airport is approx. 10 min drive away.

Availability Information

  • Our villas are normally rented on a Saturday to Saturday basis throughout the year. However, shorter breaks and alternative arrival days might be available outside the High Season. Please contact your Abercrombie & Kent Villa Consultant for further details.

  • Please note that the standard check-in time at our Ibiza properties is between 4:30pm and 8:00pm and that we ask guests to kindly vacate the property by 10:30am on departure day, unless otherwise agreed in advance.


  • IMPORTANT: Pre-arrival concierge service is included in your rental price (up to 7 days prior to your arrival day at the villa). The local concierge team can arrange the following services: car rental, airport and resort transfers, private drivers, catering and chefs, boat charters, pre-arrival food and drinks delivery, and villa security. We highly recommend booking a rental car via our pre-arrival concierge service in order to avoid a long waiting time on collection.

  • Airport Meet and Greet (one per group).
  • Maid service on six days a week.
  • Arrival set of pool towels, household and bed linen.
  • Wi-Fi Broadband internet.
  • Air-conditioning in bedrooms.
  • Private swimming pool (10x5m).
  • Cost of utilities including water, electricity and gas.
  • Final Cleaning.

Extra Services

  • Optional in-resort Concierge Service available at €500 plus 21% VAT per week (max. €1000 plus VAT per booking). In addition to the services included in the pre-arrival concierge package, here the following is available: Tailor-made itinerary building and unlimited calls to your designated member of the concierge team. Booking of restaurants, beach clubs and nightclubs. Booking of massages, spa treatments, personal trainers, yoga instructors, outdoor activities, etc. A dedicated in-resort concierge telephone and booking assistance available daily from 10am until 6pm.
  • Additional services at the villa: extra maid hours available from €25/hour.

  • Please note that a tourist tax may apply for your villa rental on Ibiza, in which case it will be collected locally on your arrival by a villa staff member. The standard rate in High Season is EUR 1 per person per night (1-9 nights) and EUR 0.50 per person for any additional night.

  • A copy of the lead guest's passport will be required at booking stage.

We’re on call in case you need us and we provide a change of towels and bed linen during the week, but otherwise there no inclusions.
