A stylish and spacious modern villa set in a prime hilltop position with fantastic 180 degree views to the sea on two sides and which take in the offshore islands of Sa Conillera, Illa des Bosc and Illa de s'Espart and the bay of San Antonio in the distance. It is superbly located near the beautiful beaches of Cala Conte and Cala Bassa, which is only a 15-20 minute walk away. The outdoor decking, covered terraces and large swimming pool are all designed to make the most of the fabulous elevated position from which the panoramic views and stunning Ibizan sunsets can be enjoyed.

This beautiful contemporary villa has been designed and decorated to an extremely high standard and with Balinese influences. The interior has been enhanced with various pieces of art, giving a sophisticated feel and a cool and airy atmosphere. Villa Cara Lotus has great outside space, with a sun deck surrounding the swimming pool and sun loungers, and an arabic-draped four-poster day bed to lounge in. It also has an outdoor, covered dining area with chunky solid wood table & chairs. Villa accommodation is spread over two floors - the main living areas are on the upper level, to make the most of the lovely views and to provide easy access to the outdoor areas and these include a spacious open-plan living room, dining area and well-equipped kitchen. As you enter the villa, you step into a raised fishpond full of goldfish and lotus plants - which is what gives the villa its name. From this courtyard with covered walkways, is access to two of the en-suite bedrooms - a further two bedrooms are also found off the main living areas on the ground floor. An internal staircase leads to the lower ground floor level, where a further three bedrooms are located. Several of the bedrooms feature four-poster beds, all have excellent storage and bathroom fixtures are very high quality - many of them have striking solid stone basins and bathtubs.

VILLA ACCOMMODATION


Upper Ground Floor:

On the upper ground floor you'll find a large open-plan living room area with a well-equipped modern kitchen and breakfast table. French windows all around the living area open onto a covered terrace and to the swimming pool. There is an additional barbeque terrace with a beautifully decorated dining table and chairs, conveniently accessed from the kitchen area. Separate W.C.

There are two double bedrooms accessible from the entrance courtyard and two further double bedrooms are on the same level as the main living accommodation.

  • Bedroom 1 (via courtyard): Master with 1.80m four-poster bed, TV, en suite bathroom with shower and outdoor bath. Access to pool area.
  • Bedroom 2 (via courtyard): with 1.80m four-poster bed, TV and en suit shower room.
  • Bedroom 3 (living room level): with 1.80m bed, en suite shower room and access to terrace.
  • Bedroom 4 (living room level): with 1.80m four-poster bed, en suite bathroom with bath and access to terrace.

Lower Ground Floor:

  • Bedroom 5: with 1.80m four-poster bed, en suite shower room and access to terrace.
  • Bedroom 6: more basic bedroom with 1.60m bed.
  • Bedroom 7: with Twin/double bed.
  • Both bedrooms (6 and 7) share a bathroom with bath and shower.

NOTES:

  • Please note that there are several drops on the grounds as well as an unprotected pond in the courtyard - young children require supervision by an adult.
  • Kindly note that the lawn area consists of high-quality artificial grass which guarantees a lush green display even during the height of the summer.
  • The villa is equipped with CCTV cameras for guests' safety.

CURRENCY INFORMATION

The Euro (€) is the official currency of Ibiza. Coins are available in 1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50, cent , €1 & €2 denominations. Notes are available in €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200, €500 denominations.

MONEY MATTERS

Travellers cheques are widely accepted for exchange or purchase in major cities, but in more rural areas, visit a bank to exchange them for Euros.
Major credit cards are widely accepted here (though a limited number of merchants have American Express accounts) and ATM access is widespread.
Exchange currency only at authorized outlets such as banks and hotels, and exchange only what you think you will spend in-country. Coins cannot be reconverted on departure.
Save all receipts from any currency exchange transaction. You may be asked to produce them when you exit the country, and they are required if you intend to reconvert local currency.

TIPPING IN IBIZA

Spaniards are fairly relaxed about tipping etiquette. However service is not usually included in restaurants and it is common practice to leave the spare change, or up to 10% of the total in a smarter restaurant. Taxi drivers and bartenders may be tipped less. Many petrol stations are not self service, however it is not usual to tip the station attendant.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE FORMALITIES

Travel documents are your responsibility. In general you should have:
A signed, valid passport that will remain valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of your trip. Your passport must have enough blank pages (excluding amendment pages) available for entry and exit stamps issued when entering and exiting immigration points.
Visas are required for certain nationalities and you are strongly advised to check your status allowing plenty of time for visa application.

WEATHER IN IBIZA

During the summer months the islands typically has 11 hours of sunshine each day, average temperature topping 29ºC as well as virtually no rain. Spring's and autumn's temperatures range from 22ºC-28ºC and the region's sunshine is still between 8-10 hours a day. The weather can be unpredictable and much more changeable, with the night-time temperature dropping quite dramatically. The winter brings average temperatures dropping to a cooler 15ºC, and 5 hours of sunshine a day.

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS

It is advisable to contact your doctor before you travel if you have any specific health concerns and take out appropriate travel and medical insurance.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY IN IBIZA

Electrical service in Spain is supplied at 220-240 volts/50 hertz – a converter/adaptor may be required.

DRIVING IN IBIZA

No right-hand turn on a red light.
Traffic from the RIGHT has right of way.
Passport or national ID as well as driver's license, insurance papers and ownership papers must be carried all the time.
National speed limit is 50km (31mph) in towns, 90km (56mph) on secondary non-urban highways (carretera secundaria), 100km (62mph) on dual carriageways (carretera/autovia), 120km (75mph) on motorways (autopista).; Speeding fines: 30 – 300 Euros.
Minimum driving age is 18.
For use of the highways (autopista) it is often necessary to pay a toll before access. Prices vary and are calculated by the distance of the journey.
There are strict laws concerning drinking and driving. Blood alcohol levels must not exceed 0,05%. There are random breathalyser tests carried out regularly by the police.
An international driving licence is not required for European citizens. Your locally issued driving licence, as long as it is accompanied by the passport, will suffice.

Availability Information

  • Our villas are normally rented on a Saturday to Saturday basis throughout the year. However, shorter breaks and alternative arrival days might be available outside the High Season. Please contact your Abercrombie & Kent Villa Consultant for further details.

  • Please note that the standard check-in time at our Ibiza properties is between 4:30pm and 8:00pm and that we ask guests to kindly vacate the property by 10:30am on departure day, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Inclusions

  • IMPORTANT: Pre-arrival concierge service is included in your rental price (up to 7 days prior to your arrival day at the villa). The local concierge team can arrange the following services: car rental, airport and resort transfers, private drivers, catering and chefs, boat charters, pre-arrival food and drinks delivery, and villa security. We highly recommend booking a rental car via our pre-arrival concierge service in order to avoid a long waiting time on collection.

  • Airport Meet and Greet (one per group).
  • Maid service 5 days a week.
  • Arrival set of pool towels, household and bed linen.
  • Air-conditioning in bedrooms.
  • Wi-Fi Broadband internet on top floor living area.
  • Telephone (local calls only).
  • Private swimming pool (approx. 14x5m) with shallow area for children.

  • KINDLY NOTE:
  • Please note that a tourist tax may apply for your villa rental on Ibiza, in which case it will be collected locally on your arrival by a villa staff member. The standard rate in High Season is EUR 1 per person per night (1-9 nights) and EUR 0.50 per person for any additional night.

Extra Services

  • Optional in-resort Concierge Service available at €500 plus 21% VAT per week (max. €1000 plus VAT per booking). In addition to the services included in the pre-arrival concierge package, here the following is available: Tailor-made itinerary building and unlimited calls to your designated member of the concierge team. Booking of restaurants, beach clubs and nightclubs. Booking of massages, spa treatments, personal trainers, yoga instructors, outdoor activities, etc. A dedicated in-resort concierge telephone and booking assistance available daily from 10am until 6pm.
  • Additional services at the villa: extra maid hours available from €25/hour.
  • Pool heating available on advance request (extra charge may apply).

Because everyone’s concept of a villa holiday is different, we have created a formula designed to offer privacy, flexibility and the freedom to run your own holiday or call upon us to help open up a world of possibilities. Our villas are normally rented on a villa-only weekly basis and are ideal for those seeking independence and privacy. We’re on call in case you need us and we provide a change of towels and bed linen during the week, but otherwise there no inclusions.

Included is an airport welcome on arrival with assistance for onward transportation; the services of an A&K Concierge – whose local knowledge provides you with invaluable assistance and recommendations; an orientation of the local area; a fully stocked drinks fridge; maid service; the ingredients for your first evening’s supper and breakfast delivered on the first morning of your stay.
