Sant Josep de sa Talaia | Bedrooms: 7 | Sleeps: 14 + 3

Rates: from £8,755 per week

Nestled on a hilltop about 4km from Ibiza town, Villa Joanet is a traditional 7-bedroom 'finca', renovated in a very tasteful manner. Situated on a 1-hectare piece of land, the villa has 800m² living space and numerous paved terraces from which to survey the 360 degree views of San Jose.

This colourful and vibrant ‘finca’ has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Spanish and Moroccan influences take centre stage with splashes of blues, oranges and reds standing out against the neutral whitewashed walls of the property. All this set in an oasis of lush, mature palm trees and vegetation, you’d be forgiven for thinking you had accidentally boarded a plane to Marrakesh! With the bright lights and glitzy thrills of Ibiza Town less than 10-minute drive away, this is a fabulous family retreat. The interior of Villa Joanet is a kaleidoscope of colour. Bright doors, dazzling drapes and eye-catching antique furniture create a comfortable and unpretentious environment that welcomes its guests with open arms. A recently refurbished kitchen combines modern equipment with traditional, tiled work surfaces reminiscent of Senora’s cocina. Terracotta flooring throughout the villa helps keep the property cooler in the heat of the summer months as well as air-conditioning in all the bedrooms to ensure a great night sleep. However, the star features of this property lie in its outdoor facilities; numerous large outdoor dining and chill out terraces as well as a 18x5m swimming pool and a floodlit tennis court. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to relaxing; whether to take a dip in the crystal, clear swimming pool, delight in a game of tennis or simply lie back on the several sun loungers or the hammock under the psychedelic, brightly coloured beams. Whichever you decide upon, you can be assured that all your stresses and strains will evaporate quicker than the bubbles in the champagne bottle!
