Spring Break in Provence
Springtime is perhaps the best of seasons in Provence, as the the Provencal countryside starts to wake up and the air stirs with the scent of lavender and blossom. The weather is comfortably warm and pleasant enough to enjoy evenings dining al fresco with still the promise of summer to come. And its not just nature that wakes up - many of the small villages celebrate Easter with festivals and traditional festivities. Below is a selection of our pick of springtime activities for all of the family to enjoy as well as details of a few villas with availability over this season:

visit the international antiques fair
Every Easter sees a gathering of over 200 international antique dealers converge on tiny Isle sur la Sorgue, offering an eclectic variety of period antiques through to kitsch pieces. Isle sur la Sorgue itself is a delight to explore with its Venice-like canals and bridges which criss cross the village. Villas nearby: Le Pommier, Le Tilleul, Le Platane.

enjoy a walk and cookery class with a naturopath
Enjoy the fresh fragrance and beauty of the spring scenery on a walk through the pretty Luberon National Park with a naturopath. Your naturopath will point out the fruits of nature which enhance your health and general well-being before returning to your villa where you will enjoy a cookery class which makes use of the natural ingredients you have seen on your walk.

learn how to milk a goat and make cheese
A great activity for young and old alike, learn how to milk a goat and then take part in a class learning how to make fresh goat's cheese. Fun for children, this activity involves hands on interaction and real flavours of Provence. You will be able to take some of the fresh goats cheese back to your villa to enjoy with more Provencal fare.
learn how to make the perfect french baguette
Spend an afternoon with a Provencal boulanger learning how to make a fresh French baguette. There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread and this is another great activity for children and adults alike to enjoy together.
