Crashing waterfalls, carnival floats and gastronomic food markets

Discover the quieter side of the Cote d’Azur in the delightfully tranquil resort of Mandelieu. Just southwest of Cannes, this pretty town is set around the noble 14th-century Chateau de la Napoule. Setting a similar historic tone, many of our luxury villas in Mandelieu and Theoule sur Mer lie within the walls of ancient chateaux or the estates of historic restored family farmhouses. Our villas are also spread across the countryside and coast: whether you want sun, sea or seclusion, it can be elegantly served up for you in a rather tasty Cote d’Azur villa.

About Mandelieu and Theoule sur Mer

Proud of its history and heritage, Mandelieu is uniquely secluded despite its location at the heart of the French Riviera. Close to Cannes, this commune rolls right across a quiet region of the Mediterranean coast. Filled with exciting activities, and dosed with a healthy helping of historic charm, you’ll find everything on offer from crazy golf to high-octane helicopter rides. Mandelieu also hosts one of the biggest carnivals on the Cote d’Azur. The annual Mimosa Festival celebrates the mimosa plants that blanket this striking region’s undulating landscape. Featuring a vibrant parade of floats and bright costumes, it’s great fun for family gatherings. To really get away from civilisation, head further inland to Tanneron. The crashing waters of its Cascade de la Siagne waterfall offer an exquisite moment of peace and quiet, surrounded by twittering birds and local wildlife. It’s utterly worth the walk. A short drive from Mandelieu, the coastal town of Theoule sur Mer awaits. Boat hire, watersports and boules can be enjoyed here on beaches and rocky coastlines that are hard to beat. The dining options and weekly markets here too take some licking. Pick up some fruit, cheese or fresh meat and return to the comfort of your luxury villa in Mandelieu or Theoule sur Mer to whip up a traditional meal topped off with a digestif on the sun-kissed poolside terrace.
