About Poggio La Rocca
It’s impossible to call Poggio La Rocca anything less than a grand country residence in Tuscany. This Tuscan villa exhausts superlatives. Set in a 500-acre estate, with 6,000m2 of private garden, this glorious retreat is surrounded by the finest vineyards in Italy. And, offering its natural beauty wherever you gaze, is the unspoilt landscapes of the Val d'Orcia.
But things just get better. A superb 17x7m infinity pool can be enjoyed after your continental breakfast is served on the lawns. A daily maid service and concierge ensure everything is just so. And the 18th-century stone villa’s restoration is graced by interiors courtesy of renowned designer, Ilaria Miani.
Six large double bedrooms, each with an en suite and dressing room, are spread over two floors. There’s also two large sitting rooms, a dining area that can comfortably seat 20, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Outside the house a vegetable garden provides fresh produce. And if you fancy a treat (at extra cost), a chef can prepare Tuscan dishes for you whilst you sit back and soak up the exquisite Tuscan views. There’s a further dining area by the pool with its own outdoor kitchen and barbecue.
The ancient castle of Sarteano is nearby. And not much further you’ll find the Vino Nobile of Montepulciano, the perfect pecorino of Pienza and the finest Brunello of Montalcino.
And that’s why Poggio La Rocca can only be called a grand country residence in Tuscany.
