Discover this beautiful old town surrounded by soaring mountains when you book a ski chalet in Andermatt. This traditional Swiss resort is full of charm, and its 86 kilometres of varied pistes have something for every skiing level. The resort is growing all the time, with new lifts planned to link Andermatt with its neighbour, Sedrun. In the meantime, you can take the enchanting mountain railway to shuttle between the two ski resorts in style.

About Andermatt

Andermatt’s high-altitude skiing is well known to intermediate and off-piste skiers, thanks to the massive Gemsstock peak which you can easily reach by gondola. Snowboarders will love the fantastic freeride terrain around Gemsstock. But less well known and often overlooked is the family and beginner area of Nätschen, which has its own cable car that leads from the resort centre. Until the new connecting lift is built, hop on the train to Sedrun and in 20 minutes you’ll come to some excellent pistes for all-rounders.

For fun off the slopes, whizz down the toboggan ride at Nätschen or hurtle down a piste in Sedrun in a snow tube. Afterwards, relax in a cosy bar in the village centre. For a truly special stay, the five star Chedi Andermatt here takes comfort to a new level with its legendary cheese and wine cellar and hydrothermal baths.
