About Villa Tara
With striking architecture inspired by the prestigious Sandy Lane Hotel, this grand villa is part of the Sugar Hill Estate. Ideally located for the gorgeous beaches, excellent restaurants and shopping of Barbados’ west coast, guests have access to the estate’s amenities too, including the clubhouse, gym and tennis courts, where both Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki have played.
Stepping through the front door you are immediately greeted by the brilliant blues of the Caribbean. From here, dual staircases lead down to the pool, its deck with plentiful loungers and lush garden beyond. Twin gazebos provide a space to cook and dine al fresco, perfect for a night out under the stars.
Inside the house, elegance meets contemporary design. The living area with its comfortable furnishings has a relaxed vibe and spills out onto the pool deck. Three of the four en-suite bedrooms are also down here, each with a private covered terrace. The expansive master with its private sitting room, occupies a wing on the first floor making the most of the sea views. Opposite is the spacious kitchen which leads into the formal dining room where huge glass doors can be opened up to invite in a sea breeze.
