About Villa Vaya
Villa Vaya is a six-bedroom villa built into the hillside overlooking Paralia Molos, one of the loveliest beaches on the east coast of Paros. The Greek-Californian duo behind Ese Studio has brought a sensitive, stylish sensibility to the property, newly built from Cycladic stone and decorated with teak wood furniture and abstract art. But it’s the fabulous ocean views that steal the show; even by moonlight, the bay is a sight to behold. Every bedroom is ensuite and opens onto a terrace with ocean views, and the main bedroom has an elemental outdoor shower and walk-in wardrobe. Another is an independent guest house with its own small pool plus a living room with a sofa bed, ideal for young families. Squishy, sofa-like sunbeds line the 19.6m swimming pool, the outdoor dining space seats 12 and the indoor dining room up to 20, around a Parian marble table – perfect for when friends drop anchor at Naoussa or pop over from Naxos. Two Greek- and English-speaking staff on site provide a concierge service and round-the-clock support.
The location
Villa Vaya is so close to Molos Bay that you can see it from your sunbed. It’s a simple sandy beach with lovely clear shallows for swimming and snorkeling, plus kite-surfing kit to rent. Kalegeros beach is also just a 20-minute walk away; both are unspoilt, and considered hidden gems on the island. A handful of excellent waterfront tavernas, such as Ouzeri Halaris, Akteon, and Philoxenia, are accessible in less than 20 minutes by car. Visit the pretty local villages of Marpissa and Tsoukalia, try windsurfing at Golden Beach or hop on a ferry to the cliff-jumping coves of Antiparos.
