About Villa d’Este Cima
Villa Cima is a stately three-storey residence built on the grounds of the Villa d’Este in 1814, on the banks of Lake Como.
Villa d'Este itself was built in 1568 as the summer residence of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio. A favourite playground for English queen Caroline and aristocrats alike, it was transformed into a luxury hotel in 1873 and remained a funhouse for nobility.
It is therefore little surprise, given its history, that Villa Cima offers such a palatial retreat for eight guests.
At Villa Cima you’ll benefit from the privacy of a villa, but have all the amenities of a luxurious hotel on your doorstep.
The villa’s bedrooms are filled with delectable antiques and artworks. The true masterpiece, however, is the priceless view of the lake from your private balcony or terrace.
The manicured lawns and ancient trees offer many ideal spots to dine al fresco with boats drifting over the lake's waters.
Villa d’Este is considered one of the best hotels in the world, with beautiful gardens, fine restaurants and three heated swimming pools. A beauty centre, fitness centre and challenging 18-hole golf course are joined by many other facilities offered such as jogging trails, a tennis centre and watersports on the lake.
Enjoy the extensive facilities on offer, and then retreat to your own private lakeside abode.
