About Trulli Cerasa
In a peaceful rural spot, surrounded by typically Apulian landscapes, Trulli Cerasa is something special. Set among ancient olive trees and the cherry trees for which it is named, the accommodation is a perfect blend of ancient and modern, split between an expertly restored trulli roundhouse, the distinctive, traditional architecture of the area, and an airy, modern extension.
Under the conical roofs of the roundhouse you’ll find a bedroom with en-suite, while the master bedroom and a bathroom are housed in a standalone stone tower – contemporary design details throughout both contrast with the old stone work beautifully. The modern extension boasts a fully equipped kitchen and living area, its large glass windows looking out over the uniquely designed infinity pool. The outside space, which flows into the orchard beyond, offers plenty of spots to lounge, either in the sunshine or in the shade of laurel trees.
Located just 30 minutes from the seaside resorts of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli, Trulli Cerasa is close to Castellana Grotte, a bustling small town with shops, restaurants and a famous cavern system. The charming Conversano is also just 10 minutes’ drive away, with its excellent array of eateries and a historic castle.
