About The Baldinucci Suite
One of the most exclusive properties in Florence, the Baldinucci Suite, part of the Palazzo Ciofi Jacometti, was once owned by Marchese Baldinucci, treasurer to the Vatican in the 18th century. The recent restoration work has created a unique atmosphere in which tradition and modernity live perfectly side-by-side. The original architectural elements, precious fabrics, period furniture, frescos and the wooden trusses (based on a project by none other than Leonardo Da Vinci himself!) magnificently come together to form one of the largest and most spectacular suites in Florence (260 smq) and a favourite among the Hollywood elite.
On the first floor of the Palazzo yet completely separate from the rest of the building, the Baldinucci Suite is just a flight of stairs away from a 3 Michelin stared restaurant. All major sights in Florence are easily reachable: Santa Croce Church and the nearby Leather School are just 200 meters away, the Uffizi Museum 800 meters, Ponte Vecchio not even 1km. Parking can be arranged at extra cost close-by.
A genuine experience of Florentine nobility, the Baldinucci Suite features luxurious marble bathrooms, a private spa with jacuzzi and a Turkish bath. When booking through Abercrombie & Kent you will receive special benefits upon arrival including a welcome drink with canapé and VIP Treatment with special gift. Breakfast will be served daily in the private dining room, while the dedicated Concierge and daily maid service will make sure to pamper you throughout your stay.
