About Podere alle Torri
The medieval towers of San Gimignano provide a stunning backdrop to the Tuscan villa of Podere alle Torri. With any other villa in Tuscany this would be a sure-fire highlight, yet here it gets rather lost in the sumptuous mix of additional delights.
Podere alle Torri is a newly restored farmhouse immersed in 14 hectares of private grounds. Amid vineyards, forest and olive groves this Tuscan estate produces exquisite organic wines and olive oil. And, of course, you’re welcome to indulge in private tastings in its wine cellars.
Should you overindulge you can sleep it off by the 14x7m swimming pool. Overlooking the vineyards, it’s fringed by chairs, sun loungers and shade. The outdoor terrace and dining area are surrounded by aromatic scents from local plants, herbs and shrubs. Al fresco meals are best served with the accompaniment of a glorious sunset.
The Tuscan delights continue inside. Magnificently restored terracotta floors are complemented by stone fireplaces. Vaulted and beamed ceilings grace a country-style kitchen, and a formal dining room that leads out into the garden.
All of the five bedrooms in this magnificent farmhouse are extravagantly furnished in a traditional style. Two luxurious suites feature a living room, and the annex contains an en suite double with its own living and dining areas.
And the unforgettable skyline of San Gimignano and its world-famous towers is just a short drive away.
