About Casa Miradouro
High on a hillside looking out over the countryside towards the Algarve’s famed coastline, the views from Casa Miradouro certainly live up to its name. Close to the charming market town of Monchique, a short walk from a local restaurant and 45 minutes from the coast, it is perfectly located for exploring.
The four en-suite bedrooms, which can all be configured as kings or twins, have access to a terrace ideal for early morning coffees. The spacious living area is upstairs, with French doors to throw open to the views and to access the balcony where there is space to dine al fresco.
Outside, with the views spread out before you, you can while away the afternoon on the terrace or in the swimming pool, which is heated and covered. The established gardens are a delight to wander – you’ll find many sunny and shady spots amidst the beautiful greenery in which to pause and enjoy a moment of tranquillity. You can also hit the tennis court with balls and rackets helpfully provided.
Exploring the villa’s spectacular rural setting is made even easier by hiring bikes with which you can wend along the routes and trails that crisscross through the area.
