Fully renovated in 2021, the interior of Aurelia is stylish yet understated. Sibling owners Fred and Alex have decorated this Algarve villa with pieces that reflect their background in design and antiquities, including tasteful contemporary paintings, period furniture and objets d’art. Light pours into the open-plan kitchen and living area, as well as the four king- and queen-size bedrooms, courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows. Three of the bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms.
Every room affords direct access to the 6,900-square-metre garden, which stretches all the way to the Ria Formosa. This meandering, palm-studded stretch of flora frames an al-fresco dining area and private swimming pool complete with sea views.
Villa Aurelia’s proximity to the Ria Formosa means all manner of beach activities are at your fingertips. Many of the barrier islands in this coastal area are rarely visited – except by the likes of oystercatchers, egrets and flamingos – allowing you to enjoy a peaceful pad along pristine sands.
