About Son Marisel
Son Marisel is a villa that offers Majorcan delights at every turn. Within 35,000sqm of grounds there are delightful Balearic island vistas. This villa is in the authentic and unspoilt heart of Majorca. On the edge of the charming village of Selva, it rests within extensive almond groves at the foot of Sierra de Tramuntana.
This villa’s front terrace is ideal for families and friends to gather for al fresco meals. You'll only ever be disturbed by distant peals from the village church. Dating back to 1738, the beautiful historic building perfectly balances traditional Majorcan architecture and modern luxuries. Two different properties have, over the years, merged into one, with a resulting layout that ensures privacy.
Son Marisel’s thick stone walls have soaked up the island’s character over many years. Its wooden beamed ceilings carry the weight of its long history. Amid this sweeping sense of heritage you’ll find every imaginable 21st-century amenity, including air-conditioning, central heating, Jacuzzi bath tubs, a 14x5m infinity pool and much more.
Its delightful grounds are filled with almond groves that are at their most beautiful when in full bloom between January and February. But during summer time you’ll find yourself lounging by the pool on one of the comfy Balinese sunbeds amid the the Balearic views.
