About Villa Stanza
The mountain village of Fornalutx is more than an idyllic retreat: this could well be the most beautiful village in Majorca. Its Moorish heritage and cobbled streets grace the slopes of the Tramuntana Mountains in the Soller Valley. Tucked away in these hills, surrounded by olive groves and citrus tree orchards, is an exquisite villa hideaway. Villa Stanza's rugged mountain views add to its sense of remote tranquility. Yet it’s just a few minutes' walk from the village square’s restaurants and bars. And the popular town of Soller, and dreamy beaches and lively marina of Puerto Soller are the shortest of drives away.
Its traditional Majorcan stone exterior announces Villa Stanza’s proud heritage. Restored to the highest standards, this spacious, light and airy villa is built over three floors. Its elevated position affords atmospheric views of Fornalutx.
The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining areas all lead out to the outdoor terraces, making al fresco dining a very strong option. It’s never much more than a hop, skip and dive into the welcoming waters of the 8x5m infinity pool from the villa’s living areas. The main terrace and pool area are perfect for families with younger children as the pool is surrounded by protective fencing and there is plenty of shade. The property has four bedrooms, two with ensuites and one with a private terrace.
While cooking, entertaining and dining are a joy here, it's also hard to resist the temptation to leisurely order a few tapa in the bars of Fornalutx. Join the locals in the attractive square, glass of wine in hand, and toast the end of another beautiful day.
