About Eden Manor
Once owned by the Abbess of Wilton, 17th-century Eden Manor is steeped in atmosphere and history. It sits in the picturesque village of Chilmark just 20 minutes from Stonehenge. Set over three floors with two interconnecting parts, the house consists of the manor itself plus the newly converted brewhouse. Recently renovated, it features fresh country-style interiors throughout, beautifully landscaped grounds, and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
Sleeping up to 15 guests in eight bedrooms, there’s ample room for large families and groups of friends. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor of the brewhouse, while the remaining six are spread across the first and second floors of the manor. On the ground floor of the manor, there’s an elegant sitting room with two comfortable seating areas, as well as a cosy library room with access to the courtyard garden. The ground floor of the converted brewhouse contains the newly refurbished kitchen/diner. This open-plan space has an adjoining snug and fireplace for the winter months. From here, there is direct access to a bright elegant conservatory area, which has a large dining table and overlooks the flower-filled back garden.
There’s so much to see and do close by to this luxury UK holiday home. Drive to Stonehenge and admire the famous monument at dawn or dusk. Or head to the medieval city of Salisbury whose cathedral spire is the tallest in England. After exploring the local area, return to Eden Manor and enjoy the tranquility with family and friends.
