An exquisitely favourable location for lavender fields, vineyards and olive groves

The name of the medieval village Fayence translates as ‘favourable location’. You’ll soon understand why. Overlooking a vast plain between the Southern Alps and the Esterel massif, this fortified town offers a unique and authentically rustic French getaway. Our selection of luxury villas in Fayence and its surroundings combine this region’s historic charm with the modern comforts of renovated chateaux, countryside farmhouses and stately poolside villas.

About Fayence & surroundings

Located in the Var department of southern France, Fayence is characterised by steep winding streets, lush hills and old buildings with stoic stone fascias. Our luxury villas in Fayence and its surroundings are also close to Cannes, making this the ideal hillside escape for those seeking French coast glamour without any of the crowds. And should you wish to explore the typical Provençal countryside of the Var, Fayence won’t disappoint. Spend the morning on your villa’s terrace, dining on a lazy breakfast of buttery croissant and crusty baguette, before exploring the Var’s endless lavender fields, vineyards and olive groves. The best way to see the region though is from the sky. Lucky for you, the largest gliding club in France is based right at the heart of this otherwise ancient village. In addition to Cannes, the seaside resort towns of Theoule-sur-Mer and Antibes are just a short drive away. Offering pristine white-sand beaches, aquamarine waters and delectable eateries, these make lovely spots to sit back on a cushioned lounger with a good book and a fine glass of wine. For the more active, the region around Fayence is also popular for cycling and horse riding. If you prefer your sport a little more relaxed, the nearby golf course at Terre Blanche is one of the best in southern France. Let us book you a tee-off time and all you’ll have to do is amble down from your villa and get practicing on your swing!
