About Grasse & St. Paul
Located in the undulating hills north of Cannes, Grasse is home to three perfume factories. Each offers daily tours and demonstrations, so be sure to visit at least one to learn how experts create the various musks and floral undertones of your favourite scent. You may even discover that you have the essential ‘nose’.
In addition to aromas, Grasse is abundant with historical sites. The main monument here is the church of Notre-Dame-du-Puy. A vision in white marble against the sapphire sky, this stately church is home to paintings by famous 17th- and 18th-century artists, including Rubens and Jean-Honore Fragonard.
The arts trail continues in St Paul, under an hour’s drive from Grasse. A fantastic mix of old and new, St Paul’s contemporary art galleries are set within narrow streets and medieval walls. The village is also famed for its truffle markets. Let us book you a guided tour and perhaps you can enjoy a champagne tasting or spa therapy along the way.
After a lazy day of relaxation and perusing boutique stores, our luxury villas in Grasse and St Paul are perfectly equipped to keep up the opulent elegance. Whip up some fine French fare in your villa kitchen, before kicking back with a digestif beside a swimming pool reflecting the sun setting on another idyllic day in the Cote d’Azur.
