About The Architect's House
The Architect’s House is nestled among the extraordinary beauty of the Luberon, on the edge of the typically Provençal village of Bonnieux. Designed by its architect owner, it is a contemporary ode to its setting, with interiors of wood and stone and huge windows that keep the sweeping views over the countryside the focus, wherever in the house you happen to be.
Ideal for a small group of up to six people, the house is centred around an airy, open-plan living area with kitchen, dining, and lounge spaces. The three bedrooms are spacious with elegant, modern décor, each with a luxurious en suite. Outside, the large terrace overlooks the glorious landscapes and is the perfect place to dine alfresco. The heated infinity pool with its beautiful views, games of pétanque or table tennis are an enjoyable way to while away the days.
The house has access to numerous walking trails that will take you deep into the dramatic nature of the Luberon, while Bonnieux is just an easy two-kilometre stroll away. A picturesque village draped over a hillside, it has an excellent restaurant scene and lots of little shops to explore.
