About Villa Luna
Villa Luna sits right in the centre of the coastal town of Sorrento, and is ideally suited to those who like to be in the heart of the action. Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds: wander through the busy streets of Sorrento and then relax in the privacy of the villa’s pretty garden. You can take a refreshing dip in your private pool, or venture out to the buzzy and bustling Marina Grande.
The Count de Mario Caracciolo, last scion of a prestigious Neapolitan family, fell in love with this villa in 1970. He decided to make it his home, and to furnish it with opulent antiques and rare artefacts. You can still get a real sense of this grandeur when you step into the spacious living area with its large fireplace, exquisite interior design and eclectic collection of objet d’arts and authentic antiques.
Lounging by the pool you become oblivious to the city sounds around you. But step outside and Sorrento is your playground. Take a leisurely walk across Piazzo Tasso, informal gateway to Sorrento’s old town, and soak up the Italian atmosphere.
Stay at Villa Luna, and you’ll be brilliantly placed to enjoy the entertainment, shopping, nightlife and cuisine that Sorrento has to offer. But you’ll also have your own private retreat under the Sorrento sun and the romantic Amalfi Coast moonlight.
