About Palazzo Napoleon
At the very heart of the Eternal City, on the famous shopping street Via Condotti, Palazzo Napoleon offers a dream location close to some of Rome’s biggest sights. The Piazza di Spagna is nearby, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain all less than a kilometre away. An apartment within a majestic palazzo, this historic building has seen many illustrious names in its time, including Emperor Napoleon III, who stayed in this very apartment in 1830.
The interiors are period splendour; hand-stencilled walls, antique furnishings, rich, heavy fabrics, oil paintings and original 16th century tapestries give the illusion of stepping back in time to a golden age of opulence. Historic as it may be, the residence has all the modern comforts, with living rooms and a kitchenette, and one or two en-suite bedrooms.
The master suite boasts a magnificent, canopied bed and a marble bathroom playfully hidden behind an oil painting. When rented as a two bedroom, the second bedroom is up a small flight of stairs with a small balcony with gorgeous views. To add to the luxuriousness of your stay, daily maid service, evening turndown and daily breakfast service are all included. As they say, ‘When in Rome…’
