About Casa Bagnaia
Surrounded by verdant vineyards and rolling Tuscan countryside, Casa Bagnaia is perfectly placed for exploring one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.
This traditional Tuscan country house sits in a peaceful spot close to the charming village of Sovicille, where you’ll find a pharmacy, post office and a handful of restaurants. It’s just a 20-minute drive to medieval Siena’s UNESCO-listed historic centre, and within half an hour’s drive you can reach the heart of Chianti wine country.
Casa Bagnaia has a classic design, combining exposed brick and stone with an elegant décor. There’s a homely feel and a strong sense of place. The outdoor space is a highlight; look out over Trecciano Estate’s satisfyingly neat rows of vines from the terrace as you sip a glass of local wine, take a dip in the secluded pool, and follow the walking trails into nearby woods.
On the ground floor, the villa has a living room with a cosy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room – plenty of space for sociable meals together. Upstairs, there’s a further lounge and three double bedrooms that each have an en-suite shower room.
Guests have the option of renting the three bedrooms in the main villa, ideal for a single family, while bigger groups can add on two double en-suite bedrooms housed in a separate wing.
