With views stretching over the ocean and along the coastline of the Algarve, Villa Ocean Star sits on a cliff top close to the charming fishing village of Salema and its glorious beach.
Spread over three storeys, this light and airy space boasts large social areas with big windows to tempt you to gaze out across the sea, the neutral décor enhanced with blue accents that match the sparkling water below. An open-plan kitchen and dining area are more than spacious enough for the whole party to gather for drinks and dinner after a day of fun.
The main house has five bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, while a sixth bedroom is part of a self-contained apartment on the lower level.
Terraces flow from the living areas and several of the bedrooms, where sun loungers and a cool plunge pool await. There’s space for alfresco drinks and dining, too.
Walk to the nearby village of Salema, called the ‘jewel of Portugal’s Algarve’, which boasts cobbled streets and colourful fisherman cottages. As well as being a delight to wander, there are several boutiques, cafes and restaurants to enjoy and a weekly market of local produce.
