This delightful tour takes in charming Cotswold villages, towns, and hidden gems. Begin with a stop in Chipping Campden, a pristine Cotswold town built on the wool trade over a period of 400 years. Take in its wonderful architectural heritage as you wander along its wide High Street. A highlight close to the town is Kiftsgate Court Gardens. This magnificently situated attraction is perched on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment. Created and developed by three generations of women gardeners, it has been carefully planned to showcase harmonious colour schemes. Alternatively, you may wish to continue to the county of Warwickshire, stopping in the market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, revered as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Tour the 16th-century half-timbered house where he is believed to have been born, before heading to Holy Trinity Church to see his grave. The beautiful parish church lies on the banks of the Avon beyond the world-famous theatre. Afterwards, you will be taken to the nearby village of Shottery to visit Ann Hathaway’s Cottage.
