About Maison du Port
As the name suggests, Maison du Port lies right on the marina of Port Grimaud. The Venice of Provence is linked by bridges over scenic canals fringed by colourful houses painted in soft pastel ochres, pinks and blues. This cosy French Riviera villa strats as it means to go on with a bright red facade that announces its playful character.
Once a French fisherman’s house, Maison du Port was one of the first properties built here. With 400m2 of living space, it’s the largest house in the marina. Renovated with bold statement interiors, 12 guests can be comfortably accommodated here in six individually designed bedrooms. All offer truly regal surrounds, with opulent curtains, full-wall headboards and rich, brightly coloured fabrics giving a truly indulgent feel.
The ground floor living room, kitchen and dining areas continue the modern theme. Personalised Louis Ghost chairs sit around the stylish kitchen table, while French doors open out onto the terrace. As a marina villa this may not be as expansive as those of other villas but there’s ample space for outdoor dining and relaxing by the water’s edge at the private mooring. There are few better places to savour views of Port Grimaud as you enjoy a delicious meal freshly prepared with fresh market produce.
The best view however, is from the sundeck on the second floor. Enjoy an aperitif here before taking dinner at the marina or hopping on a boat taxi directly into St Tropez to sample its many cafes, restaurants and bars.
