About Les Hauts de St Paul
Set within close to a hectare of Mediterranean gardens, Les Hauts de St Paul is a large and luxurious retreat for up to 14 guests.
This elegant, gated property is decorated in charming Provençal style with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, as well as modern touches of underfloor heating and a state-of-the-art sound system. One of the house’s many highlights is a galleried room, opening on both sides onto the garden, which is ideal for drinks or a game of cards in an evening.
Choose from two fully-equipped kitchens, one for the dining room and its terrace seating up to six people and one for a further dining terrace with an option to eat in the attached kitchen should you choose. This being France, your wine choices will also have the best place to rest in the wine store and large wine cooler in the lower ground sitting area. The bedrooms here are tastefully decorated and most of the villa’s en-suite rooms lead onto terraces with amazing sea views.
Take a dip in one of the two heated swimming pools set within landscaped gardens designed by celebrated landscape architect Jean Mus. Both the house and gardens enjoy stunning panoramic sea views over the Cote d’Azur. Enjoy evening meals from one of three built-in barbecues – one on each terrace and one in the large pool house which is equipped with kitchen facilities and a large wet room for after your swim.
Explore the nearby medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence with its reputation as a celebrity haven. Picasso and Matisse were reputed to have dined here in the La Colombe d'Or restaurant and paid with a painting. Its strong artistic connections continue today with its well-known art museums and galleries.
